MyPC 5.1 Released

iTS is proud to announce that MyPC 5.1 is now available. This release includes several new features and enhancements such as;

Client Self-Registration: This introduces self-registration of PCs when the MyPC Client is installed. MyPC Clients will now automatically register themselves with the MyPC Server and place them in a default site and location using the NETBIOS name.
New Quick Booking Interface: MyPC Quick Booking has now been moved to a separate screen based on customer feedback. This new screen can be made the users default screen or if required this option can be removed altogether via a setting in the MyPC administration screen.
"Book Now" Option in Simple Mode: The option to "Book Now" has been added to the simple booking interface to allow users to find immediately available computers without having to select a start date and time. If there are no computers available the user is prompted to join the queue if the queuing booking method has been enabled.
Multi-Select and Move PCs: In order to streamline management of your computers we have introduced the ability to multi-select them within a single location and move them to a different location. This enhancement also lends itself to the introduction of self-registration of PCs.
Site and Location Usage Report: We have enhanced the SQL Stored procedure in order to speed up the report compilation.

MyPC 5 released

ITS is excited to announce the release of MyPC 5.0. New features include; booking options for iPhone, android or other smartphones, booking via touch screen kiosks, an availability display designed to run on plasma screens, a quick booking option and a complete reports overhaul including the introduction of graphical reports, simpler overview summaries and more export formats. MyPC 5 also features advanced filtering capabilities, relaxed times setting when no policies are applied and the option to re-skin the interface allowing for customised colours and logos. The new simple booking interface that can be used on smartphones, kiosks and standard computers has been written following the W3C Web Accessibility Guidelines.

Talis Support

The latest release of the MyPC computer booking & access management solution introduces support for Talis Connect for MyPC (version 2). This supports authentication, groups, fines and overdue items. The Talis support is available as a licensed option within MyPC. Talis Connect for MyPC further enhances the flexibility of MyPC and allows borrowers to seamlessly integrate computer booking within their organisation.
